MEMBERSHIPS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN KITCHEN COLLECTIVE
In our shared kitchen, we have different types of membership, and we can also help you get started with your first production if you want to try it out before joining the kitchen on a permanent basis.
All types of members are an active part of our community, and everyone has an equal responsibility to contribute to making us a good workplace, regardless of how many hours they spend in the kitchen. We also have a venue space that can provide the setting for your unique food events, allowing you to invite diners along on the journey of developing your food business.
Kitchen Collective's purpose is to set the stage for food entrepreneurship and cultural kitchens and offer a working community for foodies who want to create sustainable and healthy food businesses and working environments.
Kitchen Collective is a registered social enterprise, where the value created by the company is always reinvested in the company for the benefit of the community.
Although the heart of Kitchen Collective is the shared kitchen, it only accounts for 20-25% of the revenue needed to keep the adress alive. Kitchen Collective is not financed by investors or foundations, but rather by commercial business in our venue space, which we rent out to companies, and therefore it is a great pleasure for all of us that there are also many outsiders who take part in our address.
FACILITIES
The shared kitchen can accommodate four companies at a time. The kitchen is equipped with four workstations, and you will be assigned a specific station where you can organise your belongings on the shelves provided. If your station is booked by others, you can always book one of the other stations.
One station has a sink and a work table.
You must bring your own electrical and specialised kitchen utensils and appliances.
The following are available for sharing in the kitchen:
Cooking island with 3*4 induction hobs, shared by everyone.
There are two 10-slot ovens with steam.
Big bear
Vacuum packer
Pots, pans, ladles, cloths, tea towels
Dishwashing room
Cleaning supplies
