BACKGROUND
Kitchen Collective is a socially responsible company that helps people start sustainable food businesses.
We work as an inclusive, democratic, collaborative, and agenda-setting food-innovation house and education hub - with shared kitchen facilities and events and venue space.
We are built on sharing economy with a collective kitchen, shop, venue and events plus knowledge and education in the middle of the meatpacking district in Copenhagen.
We are financed by running a commercial company, and we are not receiving any funds, subsidies or investment.
Besides operating as a shareable kitchen, having guests in our venue or kitchen is an important task for us as a collective. By having guests, we connect the development process of the food companies with eating people, and we also finance our responsible activities.
Kitchen Collective has operated more than 12 years, and in that period we have met and helped more than 700 companies in Copenhagen. You are now about to become part of a great network.
Kitchen Collective is based on the philosophy:
